Creation of a training space around football. The African Football Academy is not only a football school, it is a space where we can enhance the capacities of our young people and offer them an opportunity for professional development. This school was born with the idea of being able to join professional clubs, but without leaving anyone behind. We want to provide employment opportunities for everyone, for those who become football professionals and those who don’t.

Coordination and referral to public and private schools in the region. It is important to work in coordination with the teaching staff and to direct young people from other regions of Senegal to schools. For the African Football Academy, education is very important, which is why we want to make sure that our young people keep links with the school. Some of the boys participating in this project will come from other regions of Senegal, so it is important to refer to surrounding schools. For these children and those who live in the region and are already in school, it is important that we lead an intense effort of coordination with the teaching staff and the school officials.
Sports training. Training and courses related to sports training will be carried out by the coach and physical trainers of the center. Sports training will be group and individual, and always outside of school hours. Carry out socio-professional integration routes: once the boys are at the center, it is important to coordinate our actions with schools and training centers, to detect the needs and potential of each young person, thus orienting towards a optimal professional development, whether in football or in another workplace.

Identifying young talents. One of the main objectives of the African Football Academy is the generation of a career of players in Senegal, for national and international teams. In addition to generating opportunities, it is essential to have qualified staff, able to detect the potential of young people and make the most of it.
Coordination with national and international football teams. Coordination with the teams is essential to be able to offer our young people opportunities in professional clubs, if necessary. Likewise, the advantage would also be for the national clubs, which will have better prepared young people.
